The charming and stately brick villa in Nygårdshøyden provides the perfect setting for an idyllic wedding.
Inside, there is room for 100 guests, and outside there is a beautiful garden. We prepare and serve authentic food and drinks using ingredients of the highest quality. We tailor the menu to your preferences.
Grans Villa its spacious garden, is ideal for many types of private events—summer parties, dinners, and Christmas gatherings, to name a few. We can arrange food and beverage service according to your wishes; almost anything is possible here.
At " Grans Villa ," Bergen's architectural history is combined with the city's culinary history.
The villa is located in Jahnebakken, which is named after the legendary pastry chef Adolph Friedrich Wilhelm Jahn (1811–1897). The house was designed by architect Einar Oscar Schou, who also designed Den Nationale Scene, the Fløi Restaurant, and Lille Lungegårdsvann.
History isn't just an evocative backdrop to everything we organize and create at Grans Villa. It's literally embedded in the walls.
With plenty of help, inspiration, and guidance from Blomsterlise, we’ll each make our own large wreath. Since the wreaths last very well outdoors, we encourage you to reserve a spot in the wreath-making workshop as early as November. Between the two classes at 1:00 p.m., we’ll serve our famous paprika soup, breakfast items, and whipped butter for lunch.
